In July 2004, The Angel Theatre Islington came to our school. They performed 'Handa's Surprise', which they described as an "African tale of travel, friendship and exotic fruits!"

The book 'Handa's Surprise' is written by Eileen Browne and is used extensively at different times during the Foundation Stage and KS1.

A mixture of live acting, puppets and music were used to entertain us - the children were enthralled! The actresses were Angela Broome and Sammy Phillips
